Tarek from this old picture here , were would you think the area would be your heli? pick a number . Its not the greatest picture but it could help.

I was thinking of trying with my Rex500 with my HD cam on it and then looking at the video on my Laptop.
My only concern is the take-off and landing area if its only tall grass.
Around what time are you planning on going today?

This areal picture was taken with my Skycam cessna 182 years ago :D

Asbestos PQ IMAC

This pass week-end was the Asbestos IMAC contest.
There were 25 pilots in all. I flew my new 40% in my class Sportsman and Dwight flew my 35% in his class Intermediate.
It was a great contest we had a lot of fun.
Saturday started off dark with light rain but it finished nice.
After the first 3 flight only 24pts sepetarted the top two sportsmans pilots(Claude and I)
Day two started and finished great! Murat finished 1st in Basic, I finished 2nd in sportsman just 75.6 out 7500.00 behind Claude and Dwight place 4th.
Lots of fun!

Eurocopter EC-155 B1

Well finally she is ready.
The 155 is ready for the fun fly.
Did some changes to her like replace the Jazz with the CC 85HV and the helitronics mixer and gyros with the Gyrobot 900.

We tested her this afternoon at the shop. Yes at the shop not much room but she was airborn. Is still abit of trimming to do but that will take place tomorrow or Friday with the help of Mario.

Very excited both of us to see her airborn after a year or so...I love the spool up.

Maiden flight success

Hey everyone I am very glad to say that after all the efforts of trying to get that bird in the air the maiden flight of the p51 mustand was a success. I flew it Sunday night for about 2 minutes with my knees shaking the entire time. I will need to work on my landing a little bit but I brought it down in 1 piece.

F3A Team Selection

I will try to post pictures and comments everyday, including the trip across the rockies in minivan from Calgary, the ferry from Vancoucer to Vancouver Island and obviously the event.

Official practices are on Friday. There will be 4 rounds on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. The first 3 at the end of the contest will go to Muncie, Indiana next July for the world championship.

I had a few flights this morning and I am now packing the airplanes and the luggage. I hope I am ready :-)

I had a great time seen you all since my last visite was a while a go.
