We are currently operating under the interim regulations found here
https://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/mediaroom/i...-aircraft.html These regulations don't have age/licensing requirements, but do explicitly give an exemption to " model aircraft operated at events organized by the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC) or at airfields located in a zone administered by MAAC or a MAAC club." That wording is a bit different from the comment on the proposed regulations as it applies to operations at MAAC events and airfields rather than to MAAC members on a personal level. So, it could be an issue for individual MAAC members out flying in some arbitrary location, but seems to be fine while we are at the club.
