Re the second stand I promised

Hey folks! I finally found time to make the second stand that I promised I would make. I noticed that the other one I made had some problems. The height and the rubber coming off. I fixed the rubber. It seems like someone fixed the height. I took all the factors into account for the new stand I built today. Depending on what you want you can adjust the height of the new stand. Just bring a torque drill with a standard Robertson head (red) and move the stand up or down the 2X6s. I kept cost down by using some old patio wood I had and left over screws from the last build. Cost was $86.00. Hope you guys use the new stands and there should be no need to wheel them off to the side. Besides. the old stands are just that old and rickety. They are now unsafe.

re the contribution

It is no problem. Building those in this hot weather was a bit of a "thing". Nice to see two good stands out at the field now. NOW...what to do with the older stands? Have we ever had a bonfire at the fun fly? Perhaps a social evening at night where we have a sleep over at the field Burn stands, and swap crash stories and field tips? No flying...just stories about stuff and a wiener roast. I am up for it?! Stands deserve to be sent to Valhalla with dignity after years of service.
