Excellent choice! I suggest you install an engine synchronizer like this:
http://www.wikesrc.com/TWINSYNC-W502.htm

I use in my twins and helps a lot. Has also some safety features that help in case of dead stick. Check the online manual.

Cheers,

Ricardo

Cmon Kevin, electrics are forbidden in the DC3, the Saitos are a great choice for this airplane.
With a dead stick, the secret is to keep the speed, and lean on the bad engine.

In my twins I setup the throttles so I can idle the engine I want, and I practice dead sticks in flight.

I have landed and performed go-arounds single-engine. Keep the speed, lean on the dead engine and use rudder!

Cheers,
Ricardo

Super beau project Jean

Cet avion vol super bien.

Paul
