Looks like stephane the builder has found a sheap way to buitd lots of plane that are less stressing and expensive to fly ??

Congratulations Stephane,
I would never have thought a SPAD would look so good. I would never believed this plane to be a SPAD if you woul'nt said so. Like uncle Tom say: Unbelieveable Are the wings made of Coroplast too ? |

Luc,
The wings are made up of 2mm coroplast, ailerons out of 4mm, two large sized paint stirring sticks for the spar The fuselage is made mostly with 4mm and some 2mm (bottom of the fuse), tail uses 4mm. The coro is wrapped around a 1/4" ply firewall and two 1/8" ply formers. The cabane struts are 1/8" music wire, landing gear is 5/32 music wire, and the interplane struts are hardwood dowels. |
