WIMAC Membership

WIMAC membership forms can be found under Application Forms section of the website. New members should read the Beginner's Information article to (re-)familiarize yourself with the hobby. For those just starting, we have dedicated volunteer Instructors who will provide you with free instruction on flying your aircraft. For more information, please read our Flight Training Policy.

Don't want the hassle of sending out a cheque by mail to pay your membership dues? You can renew your WIMAC Club Membership online via PayPal.

A club initiation fee of $50.00 is required for first-time memberships (excluding juniors) and a signed WIMAC application form (waiver) must be submitted with a cheque to the Club Treasurer. Note that WIMAC will not accept cash or forward cheques on your behalf that are intended for MAAC membership. You must submit these payments directly to MAAC.

Field Information
Jan 10, 2007 - 1:08 AM - by xed
Roll Call
In the interests of safety, please take the time to announce your intentions to go to the field. Flying alone can be dangerous and is discouraged at our club.

Field Access Procedures
The gate is to be kept closed at all times due to the fact that people have been dumping on the property behind the parking lot and the city is forcing the school to pay for the clean-up. Therefore, close the gate after you come in as well as after you leave.

Garbage Disposal
You are responsible for any garbage you bring to the field. Please do not leave any mess behind for others to deal with.

Lawn Cutting
All aircraft are to be grounded while the lawn is being cut and do not make the guy wait until you are through flying. He is not paid by the hour. If he is losing his time, this could result in higher grass cutting fees for the club. This should be obvious but apparently it is not.
