IMAC contest at Montmagny QC

Michael Vernier and I both competed at the Montmagny IMAC last weekend. It was Michael's first contest and he got second place in the Basic class. I came 6th out of 6 in my class ... about what I expected ... the flying quality was very high and I had only got my plane and pattern up to a reasonable level about a week before the contest. However, I was very pleased with my performance at this stage and really enjoyed myself ... no where to go but up! I got a lot of positive comments about my plane and flying.

Dwight flew his new biplane well. Most of us have been using the same mono plane for many months which are more user friendly.
When he did the free-style with smoke, he captured everyone’s attention. It was a good show Dwight.
