This is another project I am working on this winter. It's a Pilot kit.

I got it almost complete without servos and engine. I am almost done installing the servos and the Zenoah 23cc is temporaly fitted. I have to get the proper screw and spacer length. It will also need a muffler that fit in the cowl. I am also changing the wing cables that were not very nicely done and too thick.

I don't know who build it but it's nicely done and the paint nice too. I believe it was build by the same person who did the Storch.

Nice looking and flying machine, a slow performer.
In the RCUniverse new products; there is a
canister style muffler advertised for gassies. With
the narrow forward section of the the Moth it will
be difficult to have a Pitts style muffler in with your
23cc gassie. (Afterall the full size had an inverted
inline Gypsy Major engine) It would probably look
and sound nice mounted underneath. Just a thought
in passing.

The moth is a very nice and slow flyer, I suspect it may go electric,
if you do not get bored with it. Anxious to see it fly by the pro U R.

I found a muffler that should fit behind the head and the firewall on the Bisson website. the motor is mounted inverted and it will exhaust underneath.

I tought about going electric but I had the Zenoah waiting on the shelf for many years and it fitted without too much cutting of the cowl. The sound should be nice too as it will not turn very fast with an 18in prop.

I have assembled the plane outside earlier this week. It's big !
There is still a bit of work to to before it flies but it should be ready in a few weeks when the field is ready.
Paul found me some dash pictures that will go in soon. I will also have a pilot in a few days and hopefully it look nice enough. I will need to make at least a stick also.

It had its first 3 flights today in Lachute. It could fly really slow and
scale I think. The power from the Zenoah 23cc seems scale also.

I have many pictures on the ground by me and in the air by Benoit. Too bad
the pilot was not in the plane for the flights. The pictures would have
looked more real. I'll fix that for next time.
