I have changed the Field Directions (http://www.wimac.ca/index.php?page=directions) page to use Google My Maps feature, which allows one to place icons and draw shapes onto their great map service.

I have dispensed with the ridiculously lengthy instructions and obsolete pictures (http://www.wimac.ca/img/directions/driveway.jpg) that reflected a time when we used to have a nice club sign (http://www.wimac.ca/img/directions/entrance.jpg) which has since been replaced with the local school sign and a huge ugly mass of a mud hill.

Let me know if you have any problems with this map in your browser.

Great Greg. One more reason our site is the best one.

Cause they are all in the air... :)

Actually, there is a far better Birdseye view of our field on Microsoft's Live Maps website, you can even see a plane on the runway (http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&FORM=LMLTCP&cp=rk8b3d8v68cv&style=b&lvl=2&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&phx=0&phy=0&phscl=1&scene=28374685&encType=1)...

The photography is out of date though since the pilot stations are using the old orange fence material so that puts it at least 2 years old. And if you switch to aerial view, you will see a slightly different scene, different day, different plane on the runway.
