Comme c'est un ARF, ça devrait aller assez vite mais sait t'on j'amais!

Le moteur est un Hacker A50-16S.

Avec 378rpm/volt. ça devrait tourner une hélice 16-12 à environ 8000 rpm.

C'est plutôt gros....

A cause d'autres évenements dont un petit fils né le 23 juin je n'ai pas consacré tout mon temps à Mlle mais quand même.

Pour Beto, le PA260 est prêt à voler en formation.

Pour Miss Wind, j'ai rencontré une seule difficulté, c'est l'installation de l'empennage horizontal qui est délicat à faire avec précision et à coller correctement.

Sinon, tout est installé et il ne me reste qu'à coller la vitrine et ajuster les servos. J'espère l'apporter au club dimanche pour des essais.

J'ai testé le moteur avec une trois cellules, 11v, et ça bouge. Après j'ai essayé avec six cellules, 22v, et sans se rendre au max. c'est tout les articles de mon atelier qui commençaient à bouger. C'est vraiment très puissant.

Les photos sont de l'empennage avant la colle, le moteur qui fait environ 7 deg. vers la droite, le train d'aterissage qui en plus d'être superbe a été facile à installer et une première vu d'ensemble.

Not sure what you mean Bill this is an engine does it have to do with contra rot.. prop? If it is for my Extra it's too big. But that reminds me I didn't check Brisson...

It has nothing to do with the prop. We were talking about engines and you said 40cc is not available and you were thinking of going with the 50cc.

Well I checked Brison and they still have the 40cc at 499$cdn I would need the BCM muffler 105$ but it'S a different setup then the ZDZ (side carb instead of rear).

So Ill have to think about it.

Je suis revenu trop tard pour le banquet de Bill, mais je prévois être au club dimanche le 3 juillet vers 13h avec Miss Wind et le PA260 (compris Albert)

Ya Greg they are too expensive, but any way the Extra is gone(don't worry not yours I didn't even fly it today winds too strong) Bill is now the proud owner he is going to electrify it, well at least he told me he'd let me do the maiden, that should be fun.

I have 3 FPE engines. a 40cc my first which is 6 years old and not one problem, my second was the 50cc which is in my Edge 540T and I stopped tracking at 3000 flights last year and I am still flying it. and my fourth is the 70cc and also that has been a fantastic engine. Kurt the owner is there for a good service. My 40cc was in the crash of my Ag Wagon, and pushed in the crank and ruined the bearings, He fixed the engine now it runs like new and charged me 121 dollars. I was very happy with the repair and cost.
Now they do not have the 50cc it is a 52cc
I highly recommend them. Chrish Blake also had a couple of them and he is the one that got me on these engines.

Miss Wind a eu son baptême de l'air dimanche par une journée chaude avec un peu de vent.

Elle s'est bien comportée, très neutre et prévisible même si le pilote était pas mal plus nerveux que la normale.

On ne peut pas parler de bruit tellement c'est léger comme son mais la puissance est au rendez-vous c'est certain.

Finalement pour un vol de six minutes, la consommation a été moins de 1500mah sur la capacité de 5000mah.

Merci aux membres présents qui m'ont soutenu et permis de faire un beau succès de ce vol inaugural.

Hi Kevin, Well the cowl is ready for painting. I have to go to Car Quest and try to much the paint (blue)
A new is arou $45US plus shipping so I thought I'll fix that one.
Since is going to be electrified I wont need the exaust holes.
I got the ESC and the motor and prop are on their way.
Is gonna be awesome. And yes you are right since you were the original owner you will do the maiden cause you know how she handles.
I will let you know when I have everything together.
