HELP needed!!!

Hello,

My husbands birthday is in a few weeks and he is interested in this hobby. He has appparently flown with some people at your club and enjoys it greatly(i'd rather not tell you his name as this is a surprise). I have read some posts and you all seem quite knowledgable. He is interested in an electric plane and i would like to purchase him the best there is out there. Please let me know if you can help.

I like the ones by Precision Aerobatics, there made very strong and the quality is awesome. Lots of carbon fiber intergraded into there builds.

I second Burning Head's suggestion for a beginner. The Precision Aerobatics stuff if for more advanced pilots I believe.

There is not one good answer. There are so many possibilities depending of the pilot skills but also depending of his preferences. Does he like high speed or slow planes, aerobatic high performance or old slow scale biplane, ect. All of these exist with electric motor and many more.

I would say that it's risky to buy something for someone else. You maybe better to get a gift certificate and maybe some pictures to illustrate the gift.

You must all know i cannot tell you what the plane will be just yet, just in case my husband figures out that this is me, i want to keep it a surprise.

I will tell you however i will not be getting him a trainer as he has flown before and i think a trainer will bore him.
