Here's another little gizmo for my Copter.
All carbon and G-10
Savox servos and lots of cutting.

I just found out today that DS-620 Align servos are branded Savox servos.
The gears and circuit board are identical.

Billy, how would you compare the Wookong avionics to the Mikrokopter stuff you've used in the past?

Well Rich. They both are about in the same price range.
The MK has more waypoints (for free) the DJI you have to pay for it $1650.00
The DJI is more stable in the wind also the gps is more accurate.
The Mk loses the orientation with a magnetic inteference.
Gimbal stabilization is better on the MK, the Dji has some gliches.
The good thing about DJI is it works right out of the box. The MK you have to solder alot of items and not sure it will work unless you get youre self an ARF.

Peter here's a new gimbal I've been working on .
Is the AV200 with the MK FC2.0 controller for stabilization:)

It works like a charm. I ordered the Skyline RSGS from Photoship but until it arrives I had this FC laying around so I put it to use.

I still have to do some tweaking to get it right.

Sorry for the late reply.
Sorry Albert I should of put captions on the photos.
Is a gimbal for the camera. It has two axis tilt and roll.
I use external potentiometers to smooth out the travel.

Is a copy of one I saw on the net. The Cinestar gimbal.

Hi Bill,

Very nice work. I also see that you have received the S800 frame.

When do we go fly and film AREA 51? Our machines would be questioned by civilians as either UFO's or MILITARY test aircraft.

Hope to see live action soon.

Keep up the good work.

Hello again.
Today we had our annual B-B-Q at work.
About 30 people attended. Eveyone knew that I was building my 800 at work, the best place to do it. I have all the tools that I need and all the time I need.
Anyway some of the guys wanted to see the 800 fly. I told them that she is not totally ready yet but they insisted.

I put the 800 together, mounted the camera and gave it a go.

She flew and flew well with the default settings.
I had 2x 5000 mAh 6S thunder power batteries connected in parallel.
Actually this is the second flight, The first flight the guy that was filming had the camera set wrong.

On board also the AV-200 with the NEX-5n and full FPV gear.
The bird weighs in at 6.9Kg or 13.75lbs. Heavy.
She flew at 3/4 throttle so this weekend I have to do some tweaking with the gains.
I had it in ATTI mode I didn't want to try GPS been too close to stacks of lumber and people.
As far as the onboard camera hehe there was no SD card in it....
At the club this weekend I will do more testing and adjusting.

I am very happy with it..
Here's a small vid my friend took..

PS Peter I will try to be at the field this weekend in the PM I will bring the six legged beast.

Cheers
