The event was this past Saturday and it was a great success for a first try. We didn't have many pilots but the quality was there. Devin McGrath who was second at the 2012 ETOC won in the F3P class in front of Dave Lockhart (2011 F3A US champion) from New Jersey and Ken Velez (2009 F3A Master US Champion) from Canandaigua, NY.

In the Sportsman class, Devin's father Ron won in front of Brian Mailloux from Toronto and Richard Gareau from Laval. Richard's son, Alex was 4th and he was in front of his Dad on the second flight.

The event was also used to select the pilots who could represent Canada at the World Championship in Germany next February. With the very limited indoor practice before the event, the 3 Canadian registered in F3P were happy to keep the American in sight. They plan to practice a lot before going across the Atlantique :-)
