Hope everyone had a good Christmas,

I’m getting ready for indoor flight and making a brave attempt at prepping this model; A BIG STEP-UP from my night vapor :crazy2:
She is balanced and I set-up just the low/high rates (see below), no 3D for me
Does anyone have some recommended rookie expo rates for indoor flying
Of course, I’ll need a volunteer to maiden her :D

Many thanks…

My recommendation will be to stay on low rate until the plane have no more secret for you:)

The high rates are for you, to try-out, Richard, LOL, but I'll have to set-up some expo for myself?

on Low rates put about 40-50 % and don't forget these plane have no airfoil so they fly on the motor and you turn with the rudder, but that's ok since everyone uses the rudder at WIMAC hey:rolleyes:

Rudder... rudder... where is the rudder...?

If you are only used to ailerons connect the rudder servo to the aileron channel...
Do not forget that the indoor flyers are also called "wall bangers"!

I am building the same plane brother.
Will see how they resist crashing into each other:D

I will be using 40% and the low rates to begin.

I will also bring the Night Vapor as a back-up and the Blade 120SR.
Ok, stop copying me:p

Depron mid-air depron, the damage should be not so bad .but avoid the thick EPP foam models when you fly, they are depron planes worst mightmare;)

Thanks Kevin, I was using 30% in the field with my trainers, these higher rates make sense since I have four walls to contend with.
Your right about the airfoils; I noticed the difference on the SIM.
Unfortunately, I put this model together last year in hopes I’d be a little more skilled by now. :suspicious:
So clear the gym for my first flight, it’s my birthday and you guys have some really nice planes ready, and I don’t want to hurt anyone’s pocket book, LOL!
Francois, we must have been related in a past life my back-up crash victim is a mCP X v2 with a DX6i (that I picked-up this summer).
Cheers, everyone, try and have a great weekend...

That's why i'm fixing up my old ones from last year, depending on the amount of people that shows up, usually Shawn organizes a category for slow fliers.

Well my old ones were pretty bad so they're out of commission.
