The link below contains a video of a flypast over Derwent reservoir in England where the original training for the dambuster raids in WWII were done to mark the 65th anniversary. The Lancaster featured is the last flying one in UK.

Those lumbering giants are surprisingly nimble in the air :)

The lancaster is on my todo list, but most likely many years from now (too many planes, too little time!) here's a nice plan/kit at a decent size:http://www.tonynijhuisdesigns.co.uk/Lancaster72.htm Of course, the 134" would be even better, but I can't imagine the cost of the batteries to power the four engines

Stephane,
Start saving those pennies. I checked the website. for a complete setup, i.e. four motors, ESC and Lipo batteries, a shade under C$500

Just for powering the thing? yikes!

But then, add 250$ for the short kit, plastic accessories and plans, plus at least 50$ more to get the rest of the wood sticks and sheets locally, plus 200 to 300$ for pneumatic retracts and scale oleo struts, plus another 100 to 200$ for hardware (scale and functional), plus 50-100$ for paint and covering, etc etc etc. And that's being rather optimistic.

I'll have to revise my todo list for the time being.
