    Hi Glen,
I did unstick the ring of your engine: That was the issue. The rust and varnish were olding it in place. I put the engine back together for a compression test.
Compression is marginal but almost equal if we filp the prop on way or the other.
I will order new bearings stainless steel ($5 more) at 34.95 for the set.
You will have to run the engine at low RPM (4000 and below)for a good hour and it will regain
compression. This will be a partial breaking in.
This engine sleeve has been repolished by somebody as there are diagonals very thiny
marks: I believe this is why the compression is marginal, once these wear off it will be ok.
Later on we can set the engine on a bench and run it. I have a bench.
    Cheers,
