Well it seems we are advancing!
I spoke with Marcel Bastien and he is ready to go to the field 2 or 3 times a week (I can also be there) to help with Aresti and maneuvers in general, so drop a message here and we will be ready.
Before we continue, I thinks these could be a good guidelines so we can try to go through all of them as necessary to prepare for the final test in September: a one day contest.
So here they are:
1. Aresti reading, maneuvers descriptions.
2. Airplane and radio setup: this might take a bit of time, but in three sessions we should be able to have an airplane ready for Imac.
- For airplanes we focus on mechanical linkages, CG, general airplane adjustments (wing and stab parallel, etc)
- Radio setup: focusing on the throws, exponential, dual rates, etc.
3. Flying sessions: best practices on performing maneuver: straight lines, hesitating rolls, loops.
4. Full routine flying: once we complete item 3 we will do this.
Anything you guys suggest, don't hesitate to let us know.
BTW is this the best way to communicate? How about a WhatsApp group for this? Let me know what you think.
