Depending what do you want to fly.
Most RC pilots in Canada use
RealFlight. Good, but very expensive.
There are also
ACCURC, it is good for helicopters and drones. But I don't know, is it good for the planes. It has some.
You may also try to find old good
Phoenix (already abandon-ware),
AeroFly or even
Reflex.
In fact you don't need a very expensive simulator to start flying.
You may learn to take off and land even with cheap or free simulator. But you definitely need a RC style controller to make your hands and fingers get used to the controls.
Advanced expensive simulators only needed when you want to start learning aerobatics on professional level.
