Hello Rolf,
Depending what do you want to fly.

Most RC pilots in Canada use RealFlight. Good, but very expensive.
There are also ACCURC, it is good for helicopters and drones. But I don't know, is it good for the planes. It has some.
You may also try to find old good Phoenix (already abandon-ware), AeroFly or even Reflex.

In fact you don't need a very expensive simulator to start flying.
You may learn to take off and land even with cheap or free simulator. But you definitely need a RC style controller to make your hands and fingers get used to the controls.
Advanced expensive simulators only needed when you want to start learning aerobatics on professional level.
