New member saying Hi and looking for an instructor
Hi everyone!! I joined WIMAC and MAAC this October after talking with Xavier and Dwight one weekend at the park. Always wanted to fly and with all the time home lately figured now was the time. I have flown a OMPS720 (720mm wingspan mid wing sport plane) park flyer for about 25 - 30 hours. Learned to fly on my own with only a little glue needed. I have since bought an Apprentice 1.5e (at Teds) that came with the Spectrum DXe 6 channel transmitter and am looking for an instructor to help me get flying. I do not have the trainer cable but could get one if needed. I do find that with the gyros available I am able to recover on my own with the OMPS720 but whatever is preferred by the instructor I will do.
Please let me know if you are willing to help me out. I do work all day but have lots of vacation (cancelled this year) and can make myself available with a little bit of notice.
