Mystery Damage to helicopter
by heliraiser 2014-04-23, 02:43 PM

Whilst talking to Claude Dion he mentioned that he heard a 'ping' on his helicopter whilst flying at the field. When he landed he noticed that his blade leading edge had a small lump out of it. He was puzzling it out and finally wondered if we had an air gun user near the field. This happened on Monday. If anybody has had some mystery damage or unexplainable behaviour before a crash it maybe that we have a prankster.

Meteor

Fragment of a meteorite is more likely.
I saw the dent. not a pellet. Harsh looking.
