Power generator

Hi all.
I tried to use the field generator on Sept, Monday the 12th and it won't give any output.
Any course of action?
I offer to take a look at it, take for repair, or what ever is convenient.
Whomever is in charge of this, just let me know.

Could it be the circuit breaker or fuse?
If not, feel free to take it for the repair.

No. The CB is in place. I also jumped it and nothing.
I'll go and pick it up.

I checked out and it seems that the rotor magnets have lost its power
This generator is discontinued and parts are not available.

Sorry , but that's all I could do. I took the generator back to the field.

Was this generator working when it was originally installed?

Yes. It was working on the fun fly and quit while working.

Hi, We might think seriously about foldable solar system...see link belo ...the Wooden case will be used to store the new Solar system instead of the generator (Used onece a year )...
One pannel might be sufficient for one conventional charger 50-60Watts. might need a couple of them and why not a deep cycle battery ...it will be constantly in charge during the day with presense of members.

yes, it stopped making electricity, even with the gas engine working. I thought my amp overheated and shut down.

Yes a great idea and would bring the club into the 21st century. We could be the first club in Canada to have such an installation, record how it was done and have it published in MAAC magazine.
