WIMAC for PhoenixRC Flight Sim

You can find WIMAC airplane and heli fields for the Phoenix RC Flight sim here.

Basically the same images I used for ClearView.

The airplane field has collision volumes for the shelter, the pilot safety fences, and the windsock pole.

The heli field has collision volumes for the tree line ahead of the pilot station. The grey pallet just to the left of the pilot station is raised by a couple of inches so you can try landing on it.

Unzip the files into your \Program files\PhoenixRC\Resources\Environments directory.

I used the "PhoenxRC Creator" program you can download from the Phoenix web site. Takes some time to get it right, but not bad after you play for a while.

I'd rather be flying, but with the wind today I had to find something inside to keep me busy.

Give them a try and let me know if you have any problems.

I don't have G4 so can't do all that much, but if you want to try it yourself and need the original Panorama image to work from, look in the sub-directories of this location. If they ask for anything special like "cube maps" let me know and I will see if I can create them for you.

I was able to import the pano into G3.5 with no problems and looks Excelent.
I think it's all in the pano as I tried with a pano that I created and didn't get the instent success I did this time.
Excelent work Andrew
Now I just need to do the collision stuff as I don't think your version is compatable.
