WIMAC

Beginner's Information article to (re-)familiarize yourself with the hobby. For those just starting, we have dedicated volunteer
Instructors who will provide you with free instruction on flying your aircraft. For more information, please read our
Flight Training Policy.
A club initiation fee of $50.00 is required for first-time memberships (excluding juniors) and a signed WIMAC application form (waiver) must be submitted with payment. See
Application Forms page for details.
Note that WIMAC will not accept cash or forward cheques on your behalf that are intended for
MAAC membership. You
must submit these payments directly to MAAC.
MAAC Membership
Please do not forget that you are
REQUIRED to have an active
MAAC membership in good standing for any indoor or outdoor WIMAC sanctioned activities, particularly so while operating a model aircraft.
