So I'd like to sell this plane before I crash it It shows some signs of wear, most notably a slightly warped elevator. It was like that when I got it but I fixed it up with some Goop. You don't feel it in flight though. Here are the details: Motrolfly 2815 950kv brushless motor EMAX digital metal gear servos (Qty 4) Hobbywing 60A ESC (with XT-60 connector, but I can give you a Deans to solder if you like) 3A UBEC White 52mm spinner (not installed in pics - MA prop is too wide but APC is ok) Master Airscrew 12x6 (slightly scuffed at the tips; see pics) BONUS: A tube of Goop All you need to do is add a 3-cell 1800 or 2200 and a 4-ch Rx (minimum) and you're off. The guy who built it did a really nice job, you get massive smooth travel on all surfaces and it all fits together nicely. I didn't fly it much and I don't have any 3D skills, so I can't really speak to flight characteristics, but here are my honest thoughts: Cons: -Doesn't like speed at all. Gets pitchy. Probably would be better with throws dialed back, but this is not an airframe designed for speed anyways. -Foam wheels come off the rims under lateral load and get jammed in the fairings. That just means that if it happens, you won't be able to taxi it back to your feet. -Didn't fit in my car (2009 Focus sedan - a compact car if ever there was one) without removing the wings. Pros: -Loves to fly slow. Huge control surfaces for post-stall flight -Ground handling is amazing. It's like a puppy -Looks really nice -EPP construction Asking $200 cash for everything, will consider reasonable offers. No shipping. p1ayaone Sun, 20 Oct 2013 12:40:55 -0400 Reverb/Wasp composite hotliner/pylon https://www.wimac.ca/ppclass/showproduct.php?product=658

by: p1ayaone

Description: Hey WIMAC, I have a never-build never-flown composite hotliner for sale! Calling the condition of this plane "excellent" is not quite accurate since it is actually "perfect" :) There is a photo album here: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/sredir?uname=peter.a.scheer&target=ALBUM&id=5771691556065997601&authkey=Gv1sRgCNO8jsDos-resgE&feat=email I bought this plane on impulse but I decided I would rather have a "floatier" plane, so I'm drooling over the Bird of Time. If you are willing to put in the effort I'm sure this plane would be a blast to fly. I'm not a competitive flyer but I think with the right power setup this could be a competition-calibre ship. The airframe could certainly handle 200mph. It looks great and would be a prime candidate for some custom painting or airbrushing since the finish is so clean. Will deliver to you if you are on the island or not too far away! Asking $200 with reasonable offers considered. I could trade for a big glider or even some parts. I'm on Hitec radios if you have an extra Rx, for example. p1ayaone Thu, 02 Aug 2012 14:30:55 -0400
